When this arrived, I was initially very impressed. Seems like solid construction, good material, etc. I assembled it and left it leaning against the wall in my garage overnight because it was raining at the time. When I came back out the following morning, the pole had cracked in half just under the threaded joint that hold the two halves of the shaft together.
I will probably engineer a fix and use the product anyway, but just be aware that the point where the joint is screwed to the wooden shaft is a weak point.
I still think it was a good buy for the money.
