Best Buy has a similar model with a 500 GB hard drive for $259.99, new, not refurbished. What makes this W00t a better value?

that best buy machine has no blue tooth.
You can get a good USB Bluetooth adapter for $10 or less.
That laptop from best buy can’t be shipped and isn’t available for pickup anywhere in DC Maryland or Virginia
@greb22, that’s interesting - Bestbuy allowed me to add it to my cart and showed up in my cart with free shipping, and thru checkout, sign-in. Didn’t say anything about no ship.
But perhaps they think the seat of the Federal government has already sucked enough resources out of the country. Try ordering for delivery at least 150 miles away from DC. 
I live about 80 miles from DC and I can add the one from BestBuy to my cart, but it won’t let me ship it. It says it’s only available for store pickup and none of the stores around me carry it. Too bad. It’s a better deal since it’s new and not refurbished. I think the Woot deal would be good for about $40 less, since this notebook was only about $299 when new.
Is the best buy one a dual core?
Yes, it’s the same processor, Intel® Celeron® processor 1007U. It’s the same computer only the one at BestBuy doesn’t show bluetooth, but it has a larger 500GB hard drive.
Not sure what all the huff is about. I live in MD about 20 miles east of D.C in PG County. I’m sitting at the part where all I have to do is enter in my CC number and press the buy button. I’ve already entered my address.

Can/should this machine be updated to win 8.1?
Im in NY, i’m one click away on BB to having that laptop shipped to me. So not sure what’s going on for you guys.
