The BIOS would support only up to 8gb (2 sticks of 4), make sure that you get 1333Mhz DDR3 Notebook memory.
that is only for new windows 7 machines, refurbished ones are not included in that offer

Nice machine, unbeatable at this price. Glad I was able to grab one. Now when is the next bag of crap sale? 
Just got mine in today. Filled with pre-loaded programs so a clean install was in order. Works well so far with Windows 8 except the keyboard I received with it does not work ):
