Correct. RAM and SSD are soldered in place and cannot be upgraded. That said, I have one of these (in blue) and added another 64GB of memory via the microSD slot. And, I’m pretty happy with it as a travel laptop. The keyboard is a bit flimsy, but the computer itself is more responsive than an Acer Cloudbook 14 I tried for a while, even though it was an Atom vs. Celeron processor.

Battery life is very good–I can regularly get 8-9 hours of battery life out of it with regular use (i.e., not watching movies with the brightness turned up all the way). And it really does weigh about 2.2 pounds without the power brick.
