Yep. For a consumer, it’s a lot of money. For a professional where color accuracy is an absolute necessity, it’s not.

as an aside, $10K is peanuts compared to annual salary of a highly qualified person with uncommon skillz, or a company of said individuals. otoh, are they really shopping on woot for stuff like this monitor?
