Do you know what’s the expiration date?

Hi there. These are being pulled from Amazon inventory so we don’t have information on them. Amazon is (usually) pretty good at removing expired inventory.

10g of sugar alcohols? You’re going to need to buy some new pants after eating those.

Lol that’s really not that much. I’ve seen much worse. The incredibly sweet sugar free stuff like gummy bears are like 2x this content. Some sugar alcohols are better than other on the stomach, too, lol.

These and quest protein cookies are great. Also the Atkins peanut butter cups are pretty good.

Being diabetic your gut kind of adjusts to it.

Thank you.

Indeed.

I’m in for 3, hoping these offset 6 pounds of Kit Kats.

I just noticed that this is the “Treat” bar. In my opinion the “Snack” bar is better and subsides the cravings for a longer duration.

I’ll have to kerp an eye out for them. Ever since Dr Atkins passed away they seem to just push all these convenience foods in opposition of what he actually wrote

I mean come on, they even push them on those on induction.

I just want protein chips to be affordable

Quest protein chips taste better than doritos or normal chips

I’ve been known to bake my own cheese “crackers” using you know, just cheese but that’s the thing with doing a low carb lifestyle it’s plan ahead or spend money on dubious products.

I use mission low carb tortillas to make chips or when I make taco salad. Cheese is a must, though. Calorie dense but mostly fats. But love seasoning and baking tortilla chips. The only thing is you can avoid carbs. You can avoid fats and that, but there no way to dodge calories.

Actally, I worry about carbs a whole lot more than fats. But I am diabetic so fats are satiating while carbs are just plain hard on me.

Same here for carbs. LADA Type 1, my issue with fats is that my body doesn’t like to process them very well. But honestly I don’t even worry about them. Mono and polysaturated fats are actually quite good for you.

I do a lot better with more plant based stuff in my diet. I drink a plant based nutrition shake called Huel most mornings for breakfast. Low added sugar. Added sugar is the absolute worst for my blood glucose.

The less processed, the better for insulin release It seems

I agree, some of the items don’t live up to the Dr Atkins name.

These are $6 at Wally World and they taste really good for a diet bar.

For those asking about expiration date…my box says “Enjoy by 1/13/24.” But what if I don’t enjoy? I haven’t tried them yet, so I guess we’ll see. They are currently in a losing battle sitting next to one of the boxes of dark chocolate Kit Kats I ordered. Now I do enjoy those.:yum:

Lol, Atkins vs Kit Kats?

No Contest

Me staring at the Atkins while eating another king size Kit Kat. The struggle is real.
