Time to check out the product page and solid reviews (3.9 out of 5.0) over at amazon

This may set a record for the smallest driver ever called a “subwoofer”.

All those reviews appear to be for a different model lumped together with this model, and that one, calling a 3.5" driver a “subwoofer”, breaks the record.

It’s got a sub connection, but it doesn’t come with one? And it’s $134.00? For that price, I need it to come with a sub…

There’s no review for this product on cnet.

Wow, I ordered the last sound bar from Woot, it still hasn’t even arrived and now this one, which is better and cheaper.

Thanks Woot. You just lost a long time customer.

But we’ve always sold different products in the same category. And we’ve always shipped slow.

And yours is out for delivery as I type this.

Sure, but how close these sound bars were sold is the issue I have. That isn’t really the point though. I appreciate what Woot does (tries to do), but seeing this is a disappointment as I would have chosen this sound bar and I can’t help how that feels.

I don’t want to trash talk Woot or be a troll about this. I’m only a victim of the daily deal racket anyways. I knew what I was signing up for.

It leaves me feeling slightly burned, not a big deal. I should have just went with my gut, spent a little more and went with a Sonos anyways.

Kinda like me when I buy a new computer. Do I keep waiting - there’s always something new and better around the corner - or do I just bite the bullet and do it.

I try to be happy with my decision. You’re savvy. I’m sure you did your research and you’ll be happy with it. And Sherwood is nothing to sneeze at.

will this work with iPhones or Ipads for music?

You can connect them via the 3.5mm input.

hmm, what is the big hype about it then?

While I don’t disagree that 4" drivers are probably not likely to handle the frequencies low enough to establish them as subwoofers, it really just comes down to the electronics and crossovers internally that are going to send those frequencies to the cone. I suppose as long as the speaker can actually reach frequencies in the 20-30Hz range, it could actually constitute a subwoofer. Still, I’m inclined to agree that a 4" driver doesn’t likely have the surface area or power to actually reach sub levels.

On another note, does anyone have one of these? Can they comment on the sound quality? I’ve long wanted to get a sound bar for the TV in my room and have been looking for the right combination of size/power. Sub not necessary as that will just piss the wife off.

can anyone comment on their experience with this purchase? wondering about the quality of the sound bar, particularly for a small bed room
