Thought this would be a good idea, I never remember seeing a background thread on here. Post your desktop screenshots here. Here is mine, running Ubuntu Intrepid 8.10 and all decked out for christmas which is not all too far into the future:
mine is all black with a minimal icon display
I used this one for a very long time.
but now I am using this one for a short time. Looking for a holiday one I like.
