Woot, fix the conflicts. Is it the 3800 or the 1800?
Howdy. 3800 is correct.
Will this work with the UV-5R EX?
Found this on the Baofeng site. Looks like it is to me.
This is the OEM extended high-capacity battery for BaoFeng BF-F8HP, UV-5X3, and UV-5R series radios
It works on:
UV-5X3 BF-F8HP UV-5R UV-5R variants such as the UV-5Rv2+, UV-5RTP, UV-5R+ Plus, and more
**It is not compatible with the UV-5RA or other radios like the UV-5RA which do not conform to the base UV-5R style case guidelines.
"Pair with the BTECH BT1013 USB Charge cable for easy charging – External Quick Charge Port, the BL-5L adds an external 7.4V charging port to allow the battery to charge without requiring the use of a CH-5 charging base. "
GT-3TP III appears to require the BL-5 (no L) batt, though not sure.
“Is there a charge connector on battery? No, it is just a battery” appears to be wrong based on picture 3 and Baofeng website.
No, it wouldn’t work with UV-5REX. It uses a special battery, which could be found in Radioddity official website.
BL-5:1800mAh, BL-5L:3800mAh. GT-3 series and UV-5R Series use different batteries, but both of them are named “BL-5L”. Must confirm the compatible model before purchase a BL-5/5L battery.
