Six kilograms??
That’s why I bought it, if I ain’t getting em.

I’m gonna be mad!!!
To be clear, this was a question as the only thing I see for Bard right now is 12oz at Kroger or Sprouts, or others for $5.99
This is the only reason I ordered.
As about 6lbs is a normal large size, I’m hoping at least that
12oz or a couple lbs I can pick out for less money or about same at local sprouts or Costco.
I kinda want to order a 3rd just in case it really Is a big bag
And sold out before could order a 3rd.
Found 176oz box from Bard which is less than the 6.06kg but if that’s what this is I will be very annoyed I missed the 3rd and very happy for getting more than 1.
Slightly concerned lists Bard Valley which are Natural Delights
And description lists brand as Suma which is different than Bard.
We’ll wait and see, finger’s crossed for 6 kilos. I just ordered one, in case it’s 6 kgs it’ll be a lot for me.
I bought two. You are not alone with the concerns.

If it’s not 6 kilograms or a different brand, ask for a refund. Hold sellers to account.
Mine is shipped and should be delivered today, will update y’all.
Mine just arrived. The best by date is January 2025… dates are loosely packed in a natural delights two part box secured by tape at two ends, are dry and crusty, and covered in holes and a sort of sawdust mixed with fibers not unlike insect damage… not seeing any live or dead bugs though

Mine didn’t even have the tape, open box in a shipping box also expired Jan and no plastic wrap around
Gross
Was 5kg natural Delights (bard)
I am awaiting another but have less hope of not being garbage
Luckily mine didn’t expire but packaging is terrible nonetheless.
I’ll only get to know if it’s safe to eat once I open it. Searching for a container big enough to put em.
I’m doubtful seeing just a piece of tape on each side, btw it’s 5kgs (11lb). I thought we’d get 6kgs.
I’ll check em tomorrow and reach out CS based on the condition. I hope your other one turns out good.
They should be sealed in plastic also under the lid
Mine were open dried and looked gross.
Still awaiting 2nd box but probably also a direct to trashcan
O…o now I’m not so optimistic when opening it tomorrow
My package also arrived damaged with brown debris. The best before date is January 24, 2026. That’s quite frustrating.
Should I wait for the custom service’s response, or should I throw it away?
Just take a photo or two. Especially showing the date. Have 'em handy in case they ask for them.
Update on mine:
Opened the package, and as everyone above said it’s secured by two pieces of tape and no internal packaging. Just dates in cardboard box.
Date is till Jan 2027 but half of them look shriveled and old with skin separating. Tasted a couple, taste ok but not sure about longevity.
Some of em look salvageable so will keep em in a container and see instead of trashing right away.
I am extremely pleased with the two boxes I received. The price was good. The boxes I received have an expiration date of February 2027. The Medjool Dates appear to be a product of the USA packed in Arizona. I am not concerned with the way the product was packaged. I found no debris or problems others are reporting. I have placed the Dates in my freezer after placing smaller quantities in airtight freezer bags (double bagged). It is normal for sugar to appear on the surface of dates as they age. The flavor is as expected. Thank you.
