Unless you are very close to the TV stations the antenna will probably be a novelty. If you are just buying this for the mount, you can always try scanning for channels with the antenna to see if you can use it as a backup to your cable, satellite, or streaming service.
If on the other hand you are buying this mainly for the antenna, I would reconsider. The antenna is not adjustable and you would have to ensure you mount your TV’s screen facing away from the transmitter. This is because the TV itself will block signals going toward the screen and the antenna is most efficient pointing to the front and back.
Additionally, you want to check to see what the actual RF channel your TV stations are transmitting on. If they haven’t moved for the repack yet, you want to see where they will be after the repack. Make sure that you cdon’t have any stations on channels 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 as this antenna is not optimized for those frequencies. The VHF range specified starts at 174 MHz which is the low end of channel 7.
