Product Page for the 4th gen. GLX

Time to check out the product page for the Green Micro GLX in Green and Red

http://www.amazon.com/Barska-GLX-5mW-Green-Laser/dp/B003IZXZCO/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

Either Amazon has the wrong product description (it says 4th gen also) or Woot has the wrong price.

Can I get a price check on Aisle 4 please! ;-}

Barska AU11406 Red Laser Sight with Built-In Mount & Rail is $34.99 + $5 here or $40.15 + $0 directly from the mothership. What happened to the deals Woot? Given the difference in quality of customer service, why would anyone choose to buy this here?

Be careful, criticizing Woot usually winds up with either your comment deleted or you getting banned; sometimes both.

Anybody have any experience with this attachment on a 3rd gen Glock? Does it fit alright?

I bought one of these the last time they were on here. They fit my Gen3 19 well enough but the pressure switch on on the left side. Being a right handed shooter this makes actuating the button a bit odd, it should be on the right side IMO. Other than that I like it so far.

Does anyone know if these will fit on my freakin’ sharks?

Sorry, no. These are Barska Lasers, not Frickin’ Lasers. They’re fairly comparable in quality, though the Frickin’ Lasers are far more evil.

The link you posted is another model. The one on woot is this one…

http://www.amazon.com/Barska-AU12148-Tactical-Laser-Sight/dp/B00AU6HIMC/ref=sr_1_2?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1424577430&sr=1-2&keywords=AU12148

model AU12392 arrived, doesn’t seem to fit the picatinny rail on the Sig P250. Wondering if this laser would fit other rails, and it seems the unit is made to mount a much narrower rail system than the picatinny/weaver it is advertised for. Sigh… another woot item going to get pawned off to craiglist…

Sorry to hear that. I’d recommend reaching out to Barska to see if they might be able to replace the non-fitting piece.

Sorry Woot, but Barska is pushing this back to you in the ‘under 30 days’ clause of their warranty system…

“We are sorry to hear you have encountered an issue with your product. BARSKA warranty policy starts after 30 days of purchase. In the event of a defect within 30 days you must contact the original vendor.”

Ugh. Oh well, at least I didn’t splurge on the most expensive unit. I guess there is still hope I will be able to resell locally at no or minimal loss.

You can also email support@woot.com with your order details. CS can check into your account and review any available options.

It doesn’t fit on my FNX-9 either. Like you said, it seems the rail flairs out a bit at the bottom and this is made for something that is more squared off. I’m going to email Woot now to see if they’ll take it back. It was advertised to fit the rail I have and it doesn’t. I’ll post back with what they say.

I did contact Woot CS and they were able to line me up with an RMA for complete refund.

In the meantime, a friend tried this unit out on his rifle, it fit, so I sold it to him rather than return it.

He was at the range last night and called to let me know he really likes it. I did too, really wanted this to work out with my firearm.

c’est la vie
