Does this camera need to stay connected to the Wifi network? Or, can it work without being connected to the router after the initial setup? I wanted to put it in a two story foyer window to see who is at the front door. Also, does it have motion activation or always on?
It would either need to be hard-wired into the network or be connected via Wi-Fi for you to be able to monitor the resulting video via the app.
does this device have the ability to be monitored anywhere or just from your home network?
