B'day week marches on! When they inevitably make a mid-budget Hollywood feature about our Forums, what should we call it?
Mortimer & Monte in Wooterland
Woot Woot Goes the Train!
Some sort of trick to add the current username to the poll question?
Jeff Bezos and the Golden Bio Bidet Factory.
Plot: Jeff Bezos sits on the golden throne of life. After much thought to his massive fortune, he decides to give one lucky person control of his Bio Bidet factory. The one that woot uses to get most of their Bio Bidet inventory. In order to win such a prize, everyone needs to buy Bio Bidets. One of them will be covered in gold. One of Bezos’ actual golden bidets that is in one of his 25 bathrooms, in 1 of his 35 estates, will be sold to someone. It’s definitely used, but will be sold as an open box new condition item in “satisfactory” condition. The winner will not only be able to sit on a golden throne just like Bezos, but they get to visit the mysterious Bio Bidet factory that the public has not been able to enter. Inside you will learn the real story of Jeff Bezos, and the wonderful alternate universe that is the Bio Bidet factory (time machines, time travel, and MUCH more).
Nope, I see your name on there.
The Pursuit of Crappiness
Nope, you definitely got a shout out on the poll question.
At least they didn’t use your old college name of Ultra Balls¹
Wow. Momma always said I was special.
The Vestibule of Patience… Or The Vestibule…
Person goes online to try to get a BOC from woot. Clicks the link and finds himself in a waiting room… Literally…
In the room there is an exit and a sign that says please wait. The room has a strange looking device and a smell of cookies. There are belts and gears spinning slowly, while the instrumental version of “Never gonna give you up” fills the air.
The entire movie is an existential voyage into the mind of the protagonist… As he waits he begins to relive other moments in his life that waiting paid off and moments when he should not have waited.
The movie is in Esperanto, but has English subtitles. The movie is in color, but the flash-backs are black and white and shot like silent movies.
The movie ends as the main character deciding to leave the vestibule as they touch the door handle, the machine dings and the sign says switches from “Please Wait” to “Order Ready…” Fade to black.

This is so beautiful. I’d go to an arthouse to watch it.
Son Of Woot: The Ides of 16.
(Of course, this is just a working title. I assume there will be several sub-titles)
“What the wOOt?: Monkey Business”
