Run away! I ordered two sets of these around the holidays. Both came with severe damage. Plastic and rubber had been pealled and ripped off the product. These are not refurbs, they are damaged and being passed off as reconditioned. Don’t waste your time or money.

To be fair, these are listed as “New” rather than reconditioned.

I bought a pair of these last week. They’re not as bass-heavy as I’ve read. In fact, they seem to be high end-heavy. It might be my ancient, damaged ears, though. They’re also fine for talking on the phone, if anyone does that anymore.

The most annoying thing about them is that there is a severe audio lag. It’s really bad. The lag doesn’t matter if I’m just listening to music or talking on the phone but these headphones cannot be used while watching video. The audio and video are REALLY out of sync. This is a known issue with this model.

Don’t waste your money on “Beats”! Buy ANYTHING else! Seriously. Bass heavy, with muddled midrange and no clarity in the upper end, these are for people who prefer a fashion statement to good audio! Buy Klipsch or Shure or literally ANY other brand instead!

I’ve always found Klipsch to be the best bang for your buck when it comes to speakers and headphones.
