I have a pair of the Powerbeats3 and I absolutely love’em! I wish they would have had the turf Green then Ida bought those.

Can these be used with Android phones? I am told that Apple (of course) uses a different bluetooth protocall than Android, Tizen, etc.

My airpod pros work great with my android. Not sure of a difference in protocol. These do work with Android though.

I’ve had a few brands of bluetooth earphones and they’ve all worked fine with both iOS and Android

There is an android app called beats for android which connects to the overhead protocol Apple uses on top of the BT standard.

Can someone who owns these comment on the connectivity? My current BT earphones cut out a lot even with the iPhone in my pocket. I need a more reliable pair for the gym. TIA

Has anyone had issues with these not powering on after charge?

YES! Mine will not work whatsoever after charging them. Not too sure what to do here.

@Woot What do we do about receiving dead headphones?

Hello. I’m sorry about the charging issue. Reach out to Woot Customer Service. From a browser, use the Woot Customer Service form. In the Woot App, choose Account from the bottom navigation and then Support.

I have them connected to an S9+. Range is amazing. I had some other brands in the $20 range that cut out if the phone is in another room or more than 25ft away from headphones. These keep playing. Longest I had them run after full charge was about 2.5 hours. Probably run longer, just have not tried. Only weird thing: why does it show up as Power Beats with Chinese characters on my BT connection list?
