While my love for the MDR 7506 knows no bounds, they’re not exactly for comparable use cases – corded vs. wireless, to name the biggest difference.
A better question is, are these Beats worth the money for no noise reduction feature? (You have to move up and pay 2x to get that.) I’m not saying I have the answer – or that there is only one correct answer – just posing the question.
useful point of comparison, I assume the Sony’s also don’t have “call answering/microphone” either?
Correct. The Sonys we’re referring to are old-school (that’s a compliment) corded headphones.
Sony has many other headphones that are more comparable, of course, if that’s what you’re looking for.
