BeeHive Cheese Fall Sampler (3)

BeeHive Cheese Fall Sampler (3)

For a couple of months or more I frequently get bad certificate warnings from wine.woot. This happens with both Chrome and Firefox.

Do you guys actually want to sell stuff?

First I’ve heard of this. Could you try clearing cookies and temps for woot, pls?

Woot will not let me purchase, saying I need to unblock 3rd party cookies. They are not blocked and haven’t been. I deleted my cookies but still no luck. No luck = no delicious Beehive cheese. :disappointed:

Since this uses Amazon payments, your device needs to allow Amazon cookies as well.

Could you give me more info?

Device? Web or app? Beta or regular app?

Could you show me a screen shot of the message and tell me when it appears (at what step).

This is not Woot’s fault. This is your browser settings or browser version, or browser add-ons. Reset all settings to default, disable any add-ons, and make sure your browser is fully up to date.

imac on web. Like so:

Also, on another browser, this happens immediately:

I definitely agree about add-ons or utilities especially if you’ve added any new ones or ones for blocking things.

Make sure woot.com and amazon.com are on the safe list.

To clear the cookies for a specific site, right-click on lock symbol to the left of the URL in the browser. Select Cookies. Remove the ones for Woot & Amazon.

Not actually a Woot issue here.
Amazon is not able to read cookies and is giving you these errors.
You said you were using Mac web, did you mean Safari is your browser? Https://payments.Amazon.com needs to be added to your exception list and allowed cookie use.

I use Chrome, and all cookie use is allowed.

Well, I talked to amazon.pay, they don’t know either, but I tried yet another browser and got my order placed. At least I have a workaround for the future.

To clear the cookies for a specific site, right-click on lock symbol to the left of the URL in the browser. Select Cookies. Remove the ones for Woot & Amazon.

I don’t see a cookie option when I right click the lock icon in Edge…

More on topic:
Is that delivery date correct? If so it won’t make it here until the beginning of next month: kind of a long wait when you pay up front.

Also: I love these cheeses but they are getting pretty expensive as well. These aren’t one pound blocks and these average $15 a pound.

It is the best estimate, yes.

So what browser caused the problem.

Chrome and Firefox on Windows. Any attempt to access https://wine.woot.com/, whether clicking on a link, or just hitting the URL.

Here’s the Chrome error:

And Edge.

I really doubt it’s something on my end, it happens both at home and at work. And it happens on EVERY browser: Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Vivaldi, IE.

And it only happens on wine.woot.com, no other sites.

Chrome for me. If an extension was causing the problem, I couldn’t figure out which one. I’ll just have to switch to (yuck) Safari for woot! purchases.
