We have these “planters” (landscaping opportunities on either side of our mailbox) which need a serious makeover. They get a range of full-sun to partial-shade, they are in the coverage area of a sprinkler (and we get more-than-enough rain, so the brick planters have drain openings). These claim to be annuals, so this might work out nicely for some time to come. I have gotten a couple of types of these, so I’ll have to set up a competition, see which ones look best. I assume seeds don’t have a strict shelf-life/expiration-date… A couple of buckets of potting soil and we’re off and running.
I have a very similar planter in front of the place I rent for work; hadn’t thought about that, but these would work there too…
