When you’re selling monitors with 2160p and phones with 1440p, do people still consider 720p to be “HD”?

Yes, 720p is technically HD for broadcast purposes, and some consider 480p to be HD for online media - with a mere 240p being considered SD, which has a lousy picture. I only consider “Full HD” to be HD, 1080p.

Though a wifi camera for $30 isn’t bad, whatever the quality. At that price, be more concerned about the overall image quality - focus, depth of field, brightness, contrast, and so on.
