Sorry, Woot, but this doesn’t work with my Compaq Armada 1750. Everyone that buys this may want to keep in mind that your laptop just might be weird with the plug connector. Be sure to click on the picture to be sure that they have the one you need for your laptop.
How many watts can this thing handle? I need 120W for my boat anchor. The F5L010 handles 69w per the Belkin web site.

THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH A MACBOOK / MACBOOK PRO
Repeat after me
THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH A MACBOOK OR MACBOOK PRO
THIS. WILL. NOT. WORK. WITH. ANY. PRODUCT. WITH. THE. “MAGSAFE” TYPE ADAPTER
$51.99 w/ free shipping…
still a great deal though, woot.
“Belkin’s Universal Laptop Power Supplies for Home / Office and for Travel are not compatible with Apple’s patented MagSafe connector.”
Woot, fix the ad, now!
Belkin mouse fried out a ps/2 port. Belkin surge protector started a fire, Belkin Laptop power shorted out a hdd, lastly belkin tuner device was just plain garbage.
Nothing but time wasted worth more than the cash when calling the company.
this is the official manual : )
I found it on Amazon search for 34.79 NEW from Computer Geeks, if this is it
Belkin F5L003 Universal Auto/Air Adapter
I’m in. I hope this isn’t junk!
They spelled traveling wrong at the front page on Yahoo Shopping!!!
Tee hee hee…
Belkin Website specifically states:
EXCLUDES APPLE LAPTOPS…
so no, NO MACS
Does this include the tips?
That’s the 003 model, which I guess is the little brother to the 005.
Seconded. My laptop doesn’t have a compatible plug either (Toshiba Qosmio G15).
Buyer beware. “Guaranteed to work with your PC laptop” is unfortunately a dirty lie. Be sure to look up your laptop first, kids! http://www.belkin.com/wizard/tip
“Guaranteed to work with all portable electronic devices”
Yea right, it may not work with my ipod.
There isn’t much information about this anywhere…anyone know how long it lasts / how much power it carries?
This is model F5L005
[QUOTE=gruisinger, post:15, topic:102923]
Anybody know for how many watts this thing is rated?[/quote}
Is rated for up to 120 watts
Does anyone know which tips it comes with? I am looking for tip # 36, specifically.
