These are amazing. I use them for so many things around the farm.
Instant lighting, can burn propane or mapp and very good flame for most anything.
I already have a couple of them.
I agree this is a great model for this price. After using one of these, you’ll never want to go back to the old manual knob and separate spark igniter (requiring two hands and often making you leave it, dangerously, rather than having to re-light it, for example when working on several plumbing joints.)
Note that there is a better model TS8000 I think, which has an adjustable output knob (this one is fixed at one setting). However that one costs a lot more. For most purposes this one will be fine. I did some 3/4" copper plumbing work recently with this same one I bought from Woot a few months ago. (use MAPP gas for copper plumbing with silver-bearing solder.)
