The Orange County Choppers? More semi-reality than a sitcom. Also, I can’t say I watched them much. Yet, their memes are all over, so it must speak to their success…or downfall.

The quality of sitcoms and sitcom writing, in my opinion, changed dramatically and not necessarily for the better in the 2000s. No more family sitcoms, lots of work comedies with people acting like immature children than adults.

Probably the show I liked best in this time period was My Name Is Earl, but that’s not much of a glowing recommendation.
