Best Halloween season movie remake?
Which remake/reboot of The Thing are we talking about? 2011 sucked. 1982 is one of the best movies ever. I guess 1951 was technically called The Thing from Another World, so '82 wasn’t a remake?
I voted for The Thing thinking they meant the 1982 “remake” of The Thing from Another World.
2011 The Thing also wasn’t really a remake or reboot.

It was a prequel.
Certainly felt like a remake.
