Cold eggs into hot water make for easier peeling. 12 minutes low boil, cold water rinse and soak. Done.

Instant Pot. The shell slides right off and it only takes 4 minutes if you want the egg yolk fully hard, less if you like it a bit yolky. I have tried every way listed and then some and randomly tried using the Instant Pot one day after I got it for Christmas. There is NO comparison. You’re welcome.

Once I started using one of my large Stovetop Pots with a Colander for Steaming Eggs,
I never looked back.

Shell practically comes right off.

Boil water add apple cider
Vinegar add eggs cover pot turn off heat … 10 min.
