Oh yes… and the louder-than-an-ordinary-vacuum sound won’t scare fido at all. Anyone with a SpotBot knows a 13 foot long hose will not reduce the noise at all. (I love my SpotBot btw, for cleaning carpets, just not for torturing dogs.)

Of course, my kid’s pup is stone deaf, I suppose he wouldn’t mind.

The cat would though.

I’ll stick with the water hose and a leash, Thank You…

I was going to say, our dogs practically have a stroke when we run the vaccum, I can’t imagine they’d tolerate a bath with one. It might literally kill them.

We have a Bissel carpet cleaner and it (including the nozzle) looks just like this. Guess I’ll just use that…

How big is this thing? 'Cuz I’m not sure my dog can fit in there.

From the drawing, the cord looks to be about 30 feet long and can only be used on rooftops

Bissel does sell the brush alone, and says it’s compatible with their other carpet cleaning systems. Caveat: I have not tried any of their products so I cannot say whether it works just as well.

I have a dog that’s 125 pounds. I wonder if this would work on her, or if I’d had to try to get a quick refill going in the middle of her bath?

I have 2 Newfoundland dogs with this.

Its not a must have item at all, but it has its uses.

If i had a sub 50lb dog i dont think I would bother with this, but when you have a 140 lb ball of fur this is nice for touch-up washes if they start to get a bit stinky without having to do an all afternoon grooming session.

As for the noise, it is a concern. Thankfully in my experience larger dogs seem to be less likely to care about the noise. If they tolerate a blower they will tolerate this.

If you have a larger dog that you wish you had a want to do “touch-ups” between full on grooming sessions, get it. Otherwise I don’t think I would recommend it.

Will this work on a husband?

It depends… Does he tolerate a normal vacuum?

If I bought this i think my cats would murder me then defile my corpse with it in ways I shudder to think.

Just used this for my two 50lb dogs. It too about 10 minutes to wash and towel each dogs. One dog is long haired and still worked great. Requires no rinse shampoo and does have shampoo and rinse settings. Not a total grooming solution but great for us. I am currently in wheelchair was able to bath the dogs from my transfer bench with dog sitting on a towel on floor. I am delighted…dogs were not stressed and neither was I.
