I bought one of these in December. This price is about the same as what I paid then.
This does NOT pick up dirt from carpet, even with the carpet bristle attachment separately purchased and installed.
It does work on hard surfaces nicely. The battery works for about 30 minutes, with a 3-4 hour charge cycle. Would’ve been better with a removable battery.
Anyway, don’t expect this to actually work on carpets, especially if you’ve got pets. It clogs up with dirt, and spreads it around instead of picking it up. And just hitting the same area a bunch of times might pick it up, but you’ve only got 30 minutes, which hasn’t been enough time in my experience.
We avoided the battery version and it sounds like that was a good plan. We did buy the “Bissell Crosswave Pet Pro All in One Wet Dry Vacuum Cleaner and Mop for Hard Floors and Area Rugs, 2306A” and it does pick up dirt for us. Does everything it promised to, tbh.
I bought this from a prior sale and I like it more than I expected to. I have a small apartment, a small cat, and mostly tile with one large area rug.
The cleaning/self-cleaning is easier than I expected, the light is more useful than I expected, and it keeps my floors cleaner for longer with overall less effort and time than my previous two step battery vacuum plus spray mop.
It felt like an expensive experiment but I’m happy with it so far.
I bought it at regular price. Used twice a month in small apartment, and have to visit the service center 2 times, and after that the machine is still broken. $200 service charge in and still not working properly. I would have all people avoid the machine, Bissell in general actually.
Super Pissed I have waited for so long for this to appear on Woot! On March 15th I finally broke down and ordered from Amazon. It’s been just over a week that I have received it!
This bundle is amazing and cordless and WY CHEAPER.
I swear I never get a deal on S…
I just keep getting Junk that I believe is a deal on here.
Very Sad & Disappointment
Thank Goodness it was not one of these… Recall Request
Sorry you guys are having issues with the cordless Bissell.
We have a plug-in Bissell, and it seems to work pretty well.
Yes, you have to be aware of the length of the cord, but you don’t have to charge it every 30 minutes or so…and it does not seem underpowered.
