Beware! The one I bought last month had been opened and resealed. The genuine black and decker battery had been replaced with a cheap Chinese knock off.
Item is listed as new, should someone receive something different they should contact customer service to ask for a replacement (if available) or a refund.
Sometimes the people packing orders grab the wrong item. It happens. They’re human. Woot’s customer service is there to help.

It’s true that people can accidentally grab a wrong item, but that doesn’t apply in this case. The battery comes in the same box as the tool. The box had clearly been cut right where the battery was stored and then taped back together. This wasn’t an accident. It was malfeasance. I would have returned this item if I didn’t already have several other black and decker batteries. I’m guessing this isn’t coming from Amazon since it’s not available on mothership. Could be that a third party seller is removing real batteries since they command a higher price than knockoffs.
Thanks for the feedback. I’ve passed it on. At this time, this is the only case I’ve heard of so it looks to be a one-off case. Sorry for the problem. You did get with CS?
I didn’t bother. I already had three batteries and it wasn’t worth it to send it back. But thanks for asking! I’m sure cs would have taken care of it. They’ve yet to fail me.
Ps: others may not have realized they had an off brand battery if they’ve never owned b&d items before. From the pictures it would be difficult to tell the difference.
