Do the attachments lock in place or are they held in by friction ony?

There arent any reviews out on the www.

My dog is pretty smart but getting him to use this vacuum would be a real struggle.

Seriously though, there are a number of pics of handsome folks with their handsome pets using the thing in their lovely homes but only one of the device up close. I call shenanigans. Woot shoppers are savvy enough to imagine what to do with a pet vacuum and realize that whatever it is it won’t make them or their pets any handsomer. Come on Woot, show us the goods.

Unrelatedly, if I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times: the best crevice tool is an extendable crevice tool.

Ok, I’m done.

I always thought your enemies toothbrush was the best crevice tool…

I find it amusing that there are dogs out there that would leave food scattered around their bowl. Our dogs don’t have “stray” food of any kind.

Really interested to know more about this item. I could SORELY use something that can specifically get pet hair out of furniture (mattresses, sofas/chairs, etc… @_@), but uh… I can’t find ANY information about this particular model on the internet.

A little help here, Woot??

ETA: I bit the bullet, I’ll let you know how it handles Husky mix hair. :wink:

So I’ve used this vacuum a number of times now.

To answer some questions;

  • The attachments (there is a small brush which fits into the end of the vacuum, and there is also the big rubberized brush head attachment) both lock into place utilizing different snap-in features.

  • The rubberized motor head works FABULOUSLY on fabric to get rid of dog hair (I own a husky/heeler/pit mix and a jack russell, they shed A LOT.).

  • The battery life is great for something that has a ‘boost’ button, I attribute this to a cheaper version of the long-stick Dyson models, of which we own one (purple, the ‘pet’ model just like this one).

All in all I am super pleased with the total $64 purchase.
