FWIW, the mother ship sells the XT2 (2nd gen) of this camera for the same price after the current 20% off. From what I’ve read, the XT2 is much improved camera then the 1st gen in battery life, clarity and reliability. I have two of the XT2’s and though I would NOT make them my PRIMARY security camera system, they can be moved around inside the house, you can mount them easily outside, you can even hook up a solar panel and put in rechargeable batteries. They have been deployed since July and have only had a couple of network issues (had to resync the camera control unit. They were easy to set up so I’m happy with them.
