Since Amazon bought out Woot, has anyone seen ANYTHING offered here, even on a WootOff, that couldn’t be bought elsewhere cheaper?

This OBD reader is but the last example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bluetooth-Interface-OBD2-II-EOBD-Car-Diagnostic-Auto-Scanner-/261938993631?hash=item3cfcc7d9df&item=261938993631&vxp=mtr

Note this will NOT work with an iPhone. iOS doesn’t allow the type of communication required over Bluetooth. You need a WiFi device.

Oh Woot.

$8.99 + $3 shipping at Tanga

Saw it on Yugster.com for 9 bucks…

Woot, I hope your read this. And reflect on the choices you have made to get to this point.

So cheap! Buy two!! The auto parts store sold me an OBD reader ten years ago for ten times this price. And I don’t use it, either!!! Woot Hoo!!!

Identical looking unit for eight bucks including shipping: http://www.tmart.com/OBD2-II-EOBD-ELM327-Bluetooth-Interface-Auto-Scanner-V1.4_p127046.html?cc=USD&fixed_price=us_us&gclid=CjwKEAjwqqmsBRDGy_3h_eS80jYSJACS95CvNSQ_7842ayc0NCuFliR0MGpGHZQVdJTw0oJ4_o5y2RoCiFbw_wcB A manufacturer or model number would be helpful.

Why is it so hard to list the brand or model number of this thing? Every time it’s listed there’s zero useful info. There’s a dozen readers that use the same shell. How do we know which one this is?

Looks like they jacked the price up for me - $11.75!

Dont forget the tax

Save yourself the headache and go buy one from harbor freight. $40 minus a 20% coupon. I bought this bluetooth OBDII scanner from woot and was very sad about the results, or lack thereof… I should say. 1 laptop couldn’t run the software, and then come to find out the device didn’t recognize my car. Not worth it in the least bit.

Yep. Any I got one when it was there for that price. Works fine on my 2013 Genesis Coupe.

Jeez, I bought a different one for something like $15 with free shipping on Amazon some time ago, and it’s small. This one is so huge it looks like I’d break it off every time I get in or out of the car. Holy cow.

Keep in mind these things are very heavily “counterfeited”.

The chipset on the inside determines if it’s any good.

Amazon $7.95 + $1.95 shipping. http://www.amazon.com/OxGord®-Bluetooth-OBD2-Reader-Scan/dp/B00W31VMYC/ref=sr_1_4?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1435178538&sr=1-4&keywords=obd2+bluetooth&pebp=1435178545919&perid=14K98N65X9HM7NHDT34P

Just got this from Daily Steals for $12 delivered, and it came in two days. I still have fond memories of Woot from the “Pre-Amazon” days.

You’re not supposed to leave it on…

Didnt read my 2004 Chevy Avalance, did read every other car in the lot i tried it on
