Absolutely not. Father-in-law bought one with his now ex and it is a money pit. Very messy separation and it is a whole mess. Oh, and a deer jumped in front of his vehicle, too. Plus his brother-in-law shredded a check and getting a new one will take months. He’s going through a lot of difficulties. It just keeps going.

Boat owners are people who are always on the water but never really going anywhere. That’s why I prefer cars or maybe even RVs.

They say the two happiest days in a boat owner’s life are the day he or she buys a boat, and the day he or she sells the boat. Personally, I’m a huge fan of kayaks, and while I don’t have the means to transport one, I believe it to be an exception. I used to paddle around on an inflatable. It’s an Excellent work out, but since I’m at the upper limit of the weight it can carry, it makes the bottom not so aerodynamic, and I have to paddle harder to achieve the same result as I do in a normal kayak. Also, it can be difficult to fully inflated due to the stopper mechanism in some. I might have taken on some water. Whether I ever use it again, I definitely got my money’s worth! I had a blast kayaking in Florida, Forest Park St. Louis, and even in Missouri though my $1,200 Samsung is somewhere at the bottom of a lake here.
