I’m thinking bhodilee almost has to buy this, doesn’t he? (maybe if we tell him it’s Saké Blanc)

…and while I’m at it, props to the write-up crew for tapping into the musical genius of Donald Fagen and Walter Becker.

Wondering if this is the vineyard source:

Isn’t a 2012 white a bit old now? The website is on to 2013.

It depends on how well it’s made, but I wouldn’t be buying '12 whites beyond this year that aren’t known to age well.

Thus the 50% discount…

I might be the exception but I like a little age on most whites. I’m still drinking (and enjoying) some 2007 Sauv Blancs and Viogniers. Just had a 2009 Sauv Blanc on Sunday and it tasted fresh and lively to me.

Yessir, I agree. Nice to know what you’re getting into here, but I’m sure no notes on this, seems to be a one off. I’m guessing this is still fresh but my state not here anyway.

There are plenty of wines made well that are not meant to be in the bottle long…

Notes on a 2012 SB would be good as to what it’s like now…

Speaking of whites that are known to age well, where the heck is our Clark Smith offer?
