A Review over at Engadget

Are these the original – first generation – or a later version?

These are the original “Dash”. The new Pro was just released (with a $330 price point).
These can be updated to the newest software by using the Bragi Updater “The Bragi Updater enables you to perform updates of The Dash faster, safer and easier than ever before.”

I have a pair I use almost every day at the gym. As long as you keep your phone on your right side (really) there’s never a problem with drop out. For this price, it’s a buy!

are these compatible with Apple Watch - 2nd Generation?

How long is recharge time?

Would you mind expanding on this a little bit? Are you saying that if you keep your phone on your left side or really any more than 3-4 feet away from you it will drop out on you? I didn’t realize this was a problem with these.

Less than 2 hours.

It’s gotten better but it’s been an ongoing problem since release. If you have it ‘on your body’ (an arm cuff or pocket) and are outdoors it is really a problem. - A fixable problem, jut put it on the right side.
But in the gym, with the release of v2.2 in December, it seems to have improved in more controlled spaces. {The more walls to bounce the Bluetooth off, the better)

But, they have a set of cool evolving features. I can ignore my mother in laws phone call just by shaking my head. That’s worth the price of admission!

Ok, I ordered one. Will this be the purchase that finally motivates me to exercise?

no.

How secure are they in your ears? Possible to run with them or will they work loose and fall out?

I run with mine all the time never had one fall out. They come with a set of fit-sleeves. Choose the one that keeps the Dash in your ear snug and sweat shouldn’t be a problem.

Can anyone comment on the actual sound from these? I’m wondering how good the speakers are… especially bass.

Also, what if I am unhappy with them… can I return them? Not sure how this works.

Thanks!

All I can say is to simply read the Amazon reviews on this item before you make any decision.

Has anyone tried them while swimming?

I swim in mine, that’s what I bought them for. I don’t try to have audio streaming to them - I read somewhere that doesn’t work very well - but I just load my music and podcasts right on them. I love mine!

“and now woot is selling fedoras” he thought. “so sad the things they are hocking these days. ohh, those aren’t fedoras at all … they are wireless headphones. much better!”.

costco has these for $129.99 although you pay tax, it’s probably easier to return if you dont like them.

are theses new or refurbished?
