Is this for use to power a subwoofer so you don’t need to connect to the car battery?
Per the vendor:
This unit works with your existing battery and alternator to provide the additional current needed to supply high power amplifiers
Oh, total bummer. That’s not what I needed. The description makes you feel like you are using this instead of the car battery, which would be great for those who don’t want to connect everything all the way up to the battery because that is more difficult. I guess I don’t see the purpose or need for anything like this. Too bad I was the first sucker to buy it.
Can you tell me how to install this product? Came with no instructions and there are none online and Brand X website is no longer in service. Fun times. Thanks.
