My mother is 86y/o and I’m looking for a speaker that will connect with the audio on the TV but that can be place near her about 10 feet from the TV. She doesn’t want the traditional headphone set up. I would really appreciate some help/advice here.

I saw your question and I thought to reply.
I would say Yes this would work for mom but you would need a cord to plug into the audio from the tv to the speaker, however it would suit her better to look at the Visio soundbar that’s on woot electronics for 89.99.the brave speaker is something you can throw in a bag and take off somewhere.the soundbar is more stationary and probably waaaaay better sound.
