What is the height, including the ring on the top? My cabinets are very low and I have trouble finding appliances that fit under them.

Consumer Reports did tests years ago, and found that non-round blenders did a much better(faster) job of blending ingredients.

They’re harder to clean, though, if the “blend soapy water” method doesn’t work. It usually does.

But they are dishwasher safe. I own one & clean it easily thru a regular cleaning cycle.

Funny, all other blender tests show that the squarish blenders do so much worse. Maybe it was just the models they were testing. THIS blender has got to be by far the best blender I’ve ever used. And, I work in the food industry. I’ve used Vita-mixes, and many others costing 10 times as much as this. This blender is amazing. America’s Test Kitchens (PBS show) did a test of many blenders and found this one to be the best too.

They said it was because of the hemispherical bottom, there is no way food can get stuck in any corner, as with squarish blenders, and it makes the perfect crushed ice.
