Need some user experience with this. Got rid of my aging electric pressure cooker and am using a stovetop one with not-so-happy results.

All i can say is that everything i have from Breville works really well. Bread machine Juicer, Blender and Espresso machine. Love them all

The week spot of cookers like this is the non-stick pot. It will eventually get scratched and need to be replaced. There are other electric cookers on the market with all stainless steel pots that are preferable.

Yeah, My advice is to go with a pressure cooker(electric or not) that has a stainless steel pot. Non-stick stuff is great, but sooner or later - they get scratched. Some non-stick coatings can actually be toxic once they get scratched and receive high heat(I think the U.S. has some laws preventing the use of that particular type of coating, though).

Either way, once the coating is scratched, plan on doing some ‘elbow grease’ work in the future. Stainless steel is relatively easy to clean, if you do not allow the food to cook onto the surface after cooking your meal(soak it or fill with water).

I bought mine at William Sonoma. It would not seal for anything. They sent me a new lid and a second gasket. It still would not seal. They said it had a design flaw and they thought the new lid would fix it. I ended up getting a full refund. Many forums exists on this product having issues with sealing.
