I learned to use a sewing machine from my mom. After that I re-learned in junior high school. After that I shortened my denim pants myself. These days I don’t sew. I do visit a tailor to help with properly fitting suits from time to time, usually after a visit to The Jockey Club. If I had this right now I would shorten a couple of Woot tanks by a inch or two.
