I have the bigger version of this. When it worked, it was good. But, it has developed brothgerpoweronitis. If you search brother printer and power off (or something similar) you find a lot of relatively unsolved cases of the printer failing to power on, or if it does powering back off immediately.

It has gotten annoying enough that I just ordered another printer (HP). A very temp fix is unplugging it, wait, plugging it back in while holding down the power button. This will make it last one session (maybe two), then it will fall back into the habit of not turning on.
