I have had a couple cases of this from two different vintages. As my tastes harden into a preference for bold and tannin filled wines, this continues to be a wine both my wife and I enjoy. Great fruit forward style without being too ripe. Good depth of flavor and lingering finish.
“If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.”
How about a Haywood extra? It would be great to get some of his amazing Franc and Zins too.
I’ve had previous vintages of both the Pavi Dolcetto and the Lang Barbera. The Dolcetto was juicy and fruit forward, the Barbera smooth and food-friendly.
