Thank you very much for pointing out the mis-labeled photo. I have corrected the photo.
what exact benefits does the wootielovesmpgear code give?
In for 1 and possibly more later (need to chat it up with some family). These are an amazing deal. Just in time for summer fun time.
Free ground shipping, as evidenced by my receipt!
Will that fit the Ruckus?
Either way im in for one great timing as i told my five year old today we were going on a father son camping trip.
I have a 70 oz. water bladder from the competition, Platypus (called BigZip SL).
Does anybody know if that fits in here? I don’t want to change everything, hoses, etc. just for this backpack.
I’ve had 2 military issued camelbaks. Both quality products. I’m in for the Rukus. Water bottle included.
A stated feature of some of these is that they have a laptop sleeve. Woot! didn’t provide any internal pictures, so here’s one I found (this is the Presidio, others should be similar):

Other sites also say that it will hold up to a 17" laptop (again, for the Presidio).
Glad I logged on and checked w00t before bed. In for a ruckus.
It’s for everyday use and usually a water bladder isn’t used every day. It will also stand up to more rugged use, hence the optional bladder.
Is the Ruckus big enough for a laptop?
The Hydrotanium reservoirs are slightly cheaper at Amazon, and you also have the option of buying a 100 oz. bladder, but are slightly below $25, so you don’t get the same free shipping deal unless you buy something else.
Heya! I’m wondering if anyone who’s got one of these can comment on how big they are. From some of the pictures on Amazon some of them look kinda ginormous. Particularly the Presidio. Thoughts?
What’s the difference between the Presidio and the Presidio Bungee Cord? Thanks in advance for the reply.
Woot woot! These are definitely a steal. I’m in for a Presidio, the Ruckus seems a bit too much for my needs.
It looks like the bungee is just the brown one, and the regular is just the black. I was confused about that too.
Does the Ruckus come with the tubing that lets you sip from the bottle? The description has a separate bullet point for “hydration adapter,” but this could be a misformatting of a single bullet point as described here:
(woot.com)
Integrated Tube Routing and Therminator™ Harness are compatible with Bottle Hands-Free
Hydration Adapter
vs.
“integrated Tube Routing and Therminator Harness compatible with CamelBak Bottle Hands-Free Adapter”
Awesome deal. I had to get two because it’s such a good deal and I’m broke! Damn you Woot! This is a very love hate relationship.
Got a Geary for lite trips, Presidio for long ones. Hopefully the quality is as good as I’ve heard with Camelbak, which was life-long lasting.
I have another question about the Presidio. Does the tuckable waist belt get in the way when unbuckled? Because I am probably going to use this for school as well and will obviously have it unbuckled–unless I want to look funny as hell lol. Thanks in advance for the reply.
Oh and also, I’m deciding between this and the Geary…the Presidio is a little larger and has two more compartments and has an extra sleeve within the laptop slot which is great, but the waist thing is killing it
