CamelBak Hydration Packs

I purchased the Trinity hydration pack, and it says that “You’re on the waiting list”. Could you clarify, because the info pane that elaborates on order statuses (that is the correct plural version of status [I looked it up]) fails to mention what “You’re on the waiting list” signifies.

I would like to know if I am going to get this hydration pack, because if not, I have a secondary choice that I would gladly purchase if I only knew my purchase order was going to be fulfilled or not.

Also (my third post in a lonely Message Board), The MSRP on these camelbaks are significantly lower than the MSRP for the current year model on the camelbak’s website making them an even more special of a buy.

I currently own the camelbak mule and it has a 100 oz bladder, and it got my wife and myself through almost a full 16 hour day at Walt Disney World in Florida. It really cuts down on buying drinks at Disney World (who is not known for giving much away or even being resonable on such items as drinks.) By doing this (bringing water in to Disney World) my wife and I figured that we paid for the camelbak mule within 3 days of our 7 days at WDW. (note: we went in the middle of March; during the summer months you would likely only get a 1/2 day for 2 people off of the 100 oz bladder)

The mule system doesnt have tooooo much room for storage, but we did manage to stick a can of pringles, some granola bars, a spray can of sunscreen,2 camera’s, 2 cell phones, and car keys into the mule system. There would have been room for an mp3 player as well.

I currently use my mule system for distance running and biking. It offers ample storage for my ID, cell phone, mp3 player, keys, manual air pump for inflating tires, and has a little room left over.

EDIT: We paid close to full retail for my Camelback mule system (approx 75 dollars), so when I say we figured that we had it paid for within 3 days between drinks and snacks (not to mention that our snacks were FAR superior [health wise] to the snacks offered at WDW) it goes to show you what kind of deal woot is running right now! BUY THEM ALL!!! (After I get mine)

lolz. you said bladder.

i am going to ask ppl who know things about stuff and try to get an answer for you.

ETA: I HAVE THE ANSWER, MRTBSHAW.
you, my friend, have eerily impeccable timing. you found order status limbo.

the message you received means the camelbaks are technically sold out, but since some other orders are pending, your order might still go through.

you can wait to see if it does process (i’m told it shouldn’t take long) or email cs@woot.com & let them know you’d like to cancel.

btw, if you do decide to email CS, explain your situation to them, because they may be able to help you further.

they’re really smart and i’m just here to make the doughnuts.

I’ve got a question:

When the Camelbak Trinity/Helena says “Designed for Women”, do they mean that literally, like hiking packs or sleeping bags (where they are actually SHAPED differently) or would this be fine for a guy?

I believe that the shoulder straps and the waist straps are just a little shorter/smaller. That’s what I understood from camelbak’s website…

EDIT: This is a woman’s blog on her dealings between selecting a male or female camelbak system.

I’ve emailed them approximately 3 hours ago and have not heard anything back, and as I look at the sales stats for the hydration pack I am looking at, I see that 36% purchased from 11 am-12pm, 28% from 12pm- 1, 14% from 1-2pm, 14% from 2-3pm, and 7% from 3pm-now (3:46pm). If they sell out, I have evidence that points to the fact that I was ahead of others, and I’m going to be pretty miffed. I would like a reply to the email I sent, or some sort of confirmation.

I have never read anywhere on the site where people have been put on a waiting list en masse like has been occuring today (namely me, and those looking for the FJ golf shoes on sport.woot, and the people over at original Woot trying to get the Kodak camera). I dont know if it is a computer glich, but I would like some resolution to my problem please, and thank you.
