Ca’Momi Rosso di Napa 6-Pack

2014 Ca’Momi Rosso di Napa, Napa Valley, Corta Bottle
8.99 a bottle at Binnys if you live near one.
Is that the same wine? In the Binny’s listing it calls the wine “2014 Ca’ Momi Rosso di ca momi” (although the picture of the label is the same) and gives the blend as “Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Merlot and Petite Sirah.”
The winery website shows both, with the “di Napa” at $19 and the “di ca momi” at $14.99. My guess would be that Binny’s got the wrong picture.
Sorry for the tardy rattage, but here goes:
Rosso di Napa 2014
Pop and Pour Impressions
Color: Deep Red – not purple
Nose: Umami , menthol, cherry
Taste: cherry, strawberry, umami, medium oak, medium tannins (Mrs. Woop – currant, blackberry)
Finish: dry, medium finish.
With (did I mention that Sam’s Club sells) Prime Ribeye and baby bella mushrooms sautéed in butter and Rosso di Napa
Taste: The umami of the beef masks the taste in the wine. There is enough acid to stand up to the beefy and fats. Same taste profile. Really nice.
