Can you hEAR me now?

it would be nice if you had the S9 motorola headphones that were in the picture.

That’s good feedback, thanks!

By the way, the Section 8s are great for leaving in your cube for work (I’ve done this). It’s good to get three just to have a spare laying around in case one suddenly shorts out, though.

Just an fyi to people considering these, those zipper earbuds are AWFUL. I (accidentally) bought two the last time woot sold them off. Each paid lasted about a month. Run, run away.

exactly what i was thinking. i only clicked on sellout because i thought there was a set of bluetooth headphones…

Anyone know either one of the headsets on sale work on ps3? If not woot, please add a ps3 headset already

You get what you pay for with the Section 8 earbuds. Nice, relatively long, tangle free (braided) cord. Mediocre sound. I just can’t get them to stay in my ears. Tried multiple sizes of silicone tips from multiple brands and nothing works for me.

Bought the section 8 buds for the same price and even at .99 cents I wouldn’t buy them again. Customer service sucks and the buds broke really quick. the connection where it is soldered to was not secured enough. If you do purchase them, put dab of hot glue where the wires go into the buds and it should be fine.

Be nice to get some decent PC or music headphones. What’s up with all the XBox cr@p?

Not sure how the other two posters had such a bad time with the Section 8s. They fit perfectly in my ears, and they provide pretty good sound, too. I passed a pair to my ex-girlfriend when we were still together and she fell in love with them, too.

In for a whole bunch, even though I already have five spares laying around.

So the Section 8s for the price, I am not expecting great sound but I would like something just to keep around in case I loose them?

I’d say that’s a pretty accurate assessment based on my personal experience, but the sound really isn’t bad at all.

Cheap earbuds are a lot like flashlights in that regard - you really don’t appreciate them until that one day you totally need them, but at that moment, that’s a good day indeed.

Are you serious? If you would have taken the time to actually look at the picture (or read the description for the Detonator) you would have noticed that they come with a standard 3.5mm jack, which works on almost anything.

I believe the reason that these do not stay in my ears is that they are relatively large earbuds. The weight and cord are positioned farther from the ear canal than in most ear buds.

Well I already bought something off Woot today so 99 cents isn’t that bad of a loss. I will admit, in this case, the free shipping was what made my decision to take the plunge.

Hey Section 8, you know what has seven arms and sucks?
