I always miss out on the the woots because by the time I sign in the item is gone. Can you please fix this issue?
That’s a feature not a bug.
It’s annoying to me that even though I have selected to have Woot keep me signed in to my Amazon Prime account, I have to select the Amazon button and then continue every time as if I’m signing in instead of it just remembering that I’m already signed in… why?!
Is that what you mean?
Yeah, that’s the only thing that works around here.
Seriously, it’s very frustrating getting logged out every time I move from tab to tab.
That’s a new one.
Usually it’s only when you buy something it makes you log back in.
AMEN!
That was discussed a while back. Kicking people out (logging them off) is the only way they know how to keep the servers from crashing.
And even that doesn’t work.
Well, it’s not the only way. They could buy more server space, instead of letting their customers bear the brunt of the pain! They are owned by Amazon, after all, which also owns Amazon Web Services, so there is no reason they shouldn’t be able to manage their server demand!
Also, the servers only crash when there’s a BOC, generally. Why should they make our checkout experience a headache the rest of the time?

Maybe that would’ve been funny when they were just Woot! by themselves and not an Amazon company, but now that they are, they have no good excuse, really.
I noticed that you made sure to exclude that part of my post from your quote!!
People often buy a box of stuff at a garage sale. Doesn’t me they want everything that is in that box. Or take as good a care of it as other things. (Not that I know The Mothership bought a bunch of companies at once)
Woot! is fairly independent still.
