FYI this issue has been resolved. Thank you @ThunderThighs, the Woot devs, and @Wooter904429475 for bringing up the issue and everyone here who added to the thread ![]()
Well I posted too soon. It’s no longer working. They must still be working on the app. Sorry people.
Our guys haven’t had time to look at the ticket I opened. If it does get fixed, then Android did some update.
Might be android.
I have an s22 ultra. I can still copy & paste with the stylus menu, but not with the touch screen.
This selection seems a little different to me. Not a lot, and I don’t pay much attention to it, but the select seems different.
I vote for a temporary system glitch and app specific (Woot) limitations ![]()
It did work for me a couple of hours ago as you can see by the time stamps on my previous screenshots, but has stopped working since. I did clear the cache & storage on the Woot app and signed out then in in preparation for the MMM event. Maybe that triggered it to temporarily work. As of now it’s still disabled.
This is after trying the force stop android system intelligence trick you posted above and restarting my device.
Why does it work for other apps & not the woot app? It has worked previously from the other people’s posts above including a staff member. It’s just been screwed up in the past month or so ago.
Anyways, thank you for looking into it & I’ll keep an eye out on this thread for updates. Please let the ticket you put in stand in the meantime if it’s not too much trouble. Thank you again
It’s an Android user issue YMMV ![]()
I can’t paste and pics won’t upload. The process forever and nothing happens.
That happens to me too. I have to fully close the app and then come back and add them one at a time. (don’t upload multiple at once)
Mine never clears. Closing the app doesn’t work. The ‘processing upload’ follows me from post to post and prevents me from posting anything else. It takes about 30 minutes to clear.
Maybe try clearing cookies. On the app, go to … > advanced settings

I just tried. Nope. Thank you for the suggestion though.

I have the S26 Ultra now… ill try it with the pen to see if it makes a difference.
** nope no change with my pen
As far as uploading photos goes, I had issues if you upload it from your gallery. Meeting after you hit the picture icon to upload a photo, the first selection of photos that comes up as your gallery. Sometimes if you select a photo from that section it fails to load. The workaround is to hit the three little dots in the upper right corner and go to “browse”. Then go to whatever folder on your phone has the picture you want to upload ( most common place is the “DCIM” folder where your camera dumps the photos it takes). If you select the photo from the folder option, it usually will upload without an issue. Hope this workaround works for you.
Hi TT - may no longer be relevant but at the time the original ticket was opened/referenced my Google phone was having same issue and it was bc of a Google Pixel update that first relocated then removed the LENS feature that can now only be found via the drop down menu under search in browsers. Was told it was to streamline search options which is an epic fail on their part and added many extra steps to the previous one-click option.
Was that an Android update though or just for Google Pixel?
