Does not say its compatible with Windows 7, latest says Vista.
I’ve been watching this woot-off a little the past couple of days. Still nothing to see here. Move along…these aren’t the droids I’m looking for.
It would be nice to see a sample of what a magnified object would look like, even simulated.
Rated a 4 by Amazon reviewers, with most of the negatives coming from Mac users (seems to be a problem getting it to work with a Mac, although a Mac user posted some impressive video taken with it). Although it doesn’t say so, apparently it will also work with Win 7. Not the greatest camera resolution, but at 35X I’m not sure that’s an issue. I’m a sucker for this kind of gizmo, so in for 1.
This looks identical to the Zoomy, which I own. I’m not sure how much this was selling for (I just saw it when I was reviewing the blog), but I got my zoomy for around $35. I use it on Windows 7 and it works great. it has great magnification, and I event sent it to my kids school for a section on Geology they were doing, they really enjoyed it.
