Seventy Dollars to keep one cuppa at the proper temp?

Just buy an Esbit Stove… your boss may have something to say about that but, y’know

Hard to use one of those while driving, and it might bother people on the bus.

“a truly wire free drinking experience”
Ooh heeellll no. We have been drinking wired since the dawn of time, there is no reason to change now.

But seriously, even their website is short on specs.
Weight?
Battery capacity?
How many 16oz boiling sessions per charge?
How long does it keep drinks cold? Like how good is the vacuum insulation?

This is kind of like the “hot plate” coaster my kids bought me for my desk to keep a cup of coffee warm. Coffee doesn’t stick around me long enough to get cold!

NOTE: One of the photos shows it plugged into a 12 volt charger in a car. This must be purchased individually. I only paid $9.99 on Amazon for it.

Weight of bottle: 1 pound
Weight of battery: 1.4 pounds
Combined weight: 2.4

Battery: 75 watt hours. 19,000mAh hours

Boiling sessions per charge: 2

Vacuum Insulation: The top part is just like a traditional insulated bottle, the only difference is the heating element at the bottom. It performs similarly to other vacuum insulated products for cold.

It completely out performs other bottles for keeping things at your ideal hot temperature.

Jesus Chris the nerds have managed to complicate drinking a cup of coffee!

It’s not really nerd approved. You’re still missing bluetooth, Wi-Fi enabled or 4G, there is no app for remote programming and functionality, no oled screen, no proximity sensors, no gyroscopic orientation sensors, no GPS and not even a camera to take a decent selfie while drinking your coffee. This is but a crude tool, barely adequate for a caveman.

Ok, I take it back. But the minute I see a drone attachment I’m putting it back.

I know someone who hasn’t seen version 2

But in the mean time, this one is a screaming deal!

But can it sous vide?

Questions - If I use this to keep coffee hot on a long commute but end up finishing off what I have in the bottle, will it hurt the unit if it runs dry?

Approx. how long will it keep a full bottle of liquid hot at each of the set temperatures?

Approx. how long does it take to recharge (a full charge)?

Are the internal batteries user-replaceable?

How long is the bottle without the power unit rated to keep something hot? Cold?

Is the top replaceable with a generic one like are sold for other vacuum bottles?

Thanks!

Good Lord people, just drink the damn thing and quit complicating something so very simple. Can’t believe there’d be a market for this abomination.

There is a safety feature built in. The bottle knows when it’s dry and will automatically shut off.

It will hold your ideal temp:

135 degrees for 20 hours
145 degrees for 18 hours
170 degrees for 15 hours
205 degrees for 10 hours

Keep in mind that it will keep those temps but the liquid will stay hot inside the bottle for an extended amount of time after that because it is vacuum insulated.

These are approximate times. There are several factors that will influence it like altitude, external temperature, whether the liquid was hot to begin with, etc.

4 hours from totally dead to totally charged.

No but we do sell replacement battery packs in addition to our warranty.

Will perform similarly to other comparable vacuum insulated products. Again, there are many factors that will influence that with any bottle.

We’ve not had that question before! Not that we know of, but we do sell an alternative drinking lid on our web site.

We’ve had several users find alternative uses for this product including just that.

A few other examples:

  • Cooking hard boiled eggs
  • Allows you to boil in state parks where there’s a fire ban
  • Heating up baby formula on the go

It’s 16 ounces of water at your ideal temp. This is a pretty versatile unit.

My favorite reason for wanting this is that I drink tea but I love just sipping on it all day at work instead of drinking it all at once. It stays at 135 degrees (my personal favorite temp) all day long.

Some days I have two 16 ounce drinks and this unit delivers on that too. No matter where I am.

When I’m at a trade show, I’ll start this bottle up first thing in the morning. Brew my tea. Put it my bag. It’s ready to go by the time I start work.

The product simply makes your day better.
