Ordered the same thing (with a friend’s account) over 3 weeks ago on woot. It was the same deal (which isn’t great now that you take into account current sale prices) and still hasn’t arrived! Don’t believe their Dec 24th guarantee on this piece. They kept assuring it was going to be only 5-8 business days. Well, we’re going on 15+ business days. They keep telling us to “wait - it will get there.” Beware buyer, especially of this since they haven’t even properly mailed the exact same ones from the sale 3 weeks ago.
In good faith for the benefit of Woot customers I have to recommend against these memory sticks. Alas, all three of the same 128GB keys that I bought back in November died within a few cycles in and out of my Macbook Pro. They went from recognizing and working to blinking once and not recognizing at all. All other USB keys I have still work in the Mac; and I have tested with an IBM laptop with same results. So the conclusion is the Centon keys have a problem. Centon as of yet has not responded to my RMA request. However Woot has actually given me an RMA in lieu of Centon’s lack os response. THANK YOU WOOT!
Sorry for the problem. If you want to send me more info in Private Messages, I’ll contact CS on your behalf.

To be fair, it should be noted that this will only hold something a little shy of 128GB of data. That’s just the way flash memory works.
I’m convinced part of that loss is because manufacturers are using a metric understanding of how many bytes are in a kilobyte. So instead of getting 1024 bytes you only get 1000.
I’m in the 17% category that bought 2 of these items. Unfortunately, the only one I’ve taken out of the package so far failed on me after 10 weeks. No warning, no particular reason. If you dial the Centon website’s phone number listed to get an RMA for warranty work, there is no answer, no recording, just ringing. Hopefully, I can get somewhere with an e-mail. I’ll keep you posted.
Hey wootchicken - did you ever get this figured out? I have now had 2 of the 3 begin having the same exact issue… One blink and the Computer doesnt pick anything else up. I’d love to restore the data that i lost…but not sure if thatll be possible
Purchased to back-up home desktop, failed after 6 months of use @ 1 use per month. Should have known better to buy discounted junk flash drive. Thankfully I didn’t have to pay for shipping.
